Leading in a Restorative Community

In many organizations that work restoratively with clients (schools, universities and colleges, not-for-profits, corrections, probation etc.), there is a failure to act consistently and restoratively within the workplace — often as a result of leadership styles. In this interactive (think, pair, share) session, Margaret Thorsborne will explore the implications of leadership within organizations that aspire to “become” restorative. Some of the issues around leadership that become barriers to implementation will be identified, and participants can begin to reflect on their own styles and skills around leadership with a view to becoming more influential in achieving the desired culture change.
