Working Constructively with Anger in a Restorative Reporting Center

This session will be devoted to providing professionals working with children, youth and families with a way to handle anger in a constructive and practical way. There are many different styles of anger. You will get to find out what your style is — from masked to explosive to chronic anger. Afterward, we will explore how we approach each style in a restorative way. The presenter’s experience at a restorative reporting center will validate how different youth in a 20-week probation program respond to this approach. This is a hands-on experiential teaching session.
